Why an FRL Unit Extends the Life of Your Pneumatic System

Compressed air always carries water, oil mist and particles. Without treatment, these contaminants accelerate seal wear, clog valve spools and cause corrosion inside cylinders.

A three-piece FRL unit (filter, regulator, lubricator) placed at the machine inlet keeps air quality stable. Match the unit size to the flow demand - an undersized FRL causes pressure drop and unstable speed.

Set the regulator 0.1 to 0.2 MPa above the minimum working pressure of the most demanding actuator, and check the filter bowl regularly.

Our GFR/GFC/GC modular units cover port sizes from 1/8 to 1/2 inch and can be ordered as separate elements or assembled combos.
